SCAF does not require an account and does not collect stories, names, or other personal information. Stories and checks run on your device. In the web app, drafts, completed stories, and completion dates are kept in this browser’s local storage; they are not sent to our server. You can remove saved stories from Stats, or clear the browser’s site data. The iPhone app stores drafts, completed stories, and completion dates on your device until you remove them or the app.

There are no ads, analytics, tracking, in-app purchases, or third-party SDKs in the iPhone app. The website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising scripts. Firebase Hosting handles the basic technical requests needed to serve the website under Google's infrastructure policies.
