I made SCAF after using funny writing constraints with my Year 3 students. An exact number of letters, a missing vowel, a word you must use: each little rule sends a story somewhere unexpected.

Open SCAF and choose a surprise challenge or browse for a particular rule. Write on screen, or put the keyboard away and write on paper. Checkable rules are checked only when you submit. The made-up sound prompt asks you to check your own work.
